how it works.
Verified
by Visa is a service that protects the Visa
debit or credit card
you already have. So once you activate Verified by Visa:

participating online stores, your card will be
automatically recognized as protected by Verified by
Visa.

Your
Password will be verified.

The
transaction will be completed as usual. Just like
that. Verified by Visa gives you added protection
when you shop online.

Notice to ALEC Visa Credit Cardholders
For
your security, our credit card processor requires you to
enroll your ALEC CREDIT CARD for Verified by Visa. If
you attempt to make a purchase at a participating
Verified by Visa Merchant without an ACTIVATED Verified
by Visa password, you will be prompted to enroll to
continue with your purchase.
