ALEC is awarding $10,000 in college scholarships.


Don't miss the opportunity to get help with college or vocational school expenses.

Rising college costs have created big challenges for students and their parents. That's why we introduced the ALEC Bright Future Scholarship Program. It's designed to support the academic dreams of young ALEC members and lessen the financial load for them and their families.

ALEC will give individual, non-renewable scholarships of $2,000 each to five students.

Here's what you need to know.

Who's eligible:

Scholarship eligibility is open to ALEC members aged 17-24 who are high school seniors, high school graduates not enrolled in college, or college undergraduates. They must plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or vocational school for the full 2025-2026 academic year. The student must be a member of ALEC at the time of submitting the application and have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Not a member yet? Click here to Join.


When to apply:

Applications will be accepted starting March 3rd, 2025. The deadline for submission is May 5th, 2025. The scholarship winners will be selected in June and announced in July 2025.
